In this course, you will:

  • Get a detailed understanding of the Agile PgM approach, philosophy and principles
  • Understand the nature and structure of an Agile programme lifecycle
  • Help to establish flexible agile programmes that respond effectively to business change
  • Clarify different management styles needed for successful agile programmes compared to traditional programmes and be able to tailor these to the situation
  • Actively promote trust and close co-operation between all stakeholders and provide ongoing visibility into what is happening
  • Ensure incremental and iterative realisation of benefits by encouraging active stakeholder involvement, feedback and effective controls.

Necessary Preparation

We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the Agile Programme Management (Agile PgM) Handbook aligned to the syllabus before the training starts. The Agile Programme Management (Agile PgM) Handbook will be emailed to you as an eBook version, along with access to the syllabus, ahead of the start date. During the course, two hours of evening study each night is required.

Exam Information

  • Multiple choice format
  • 50 questions (each worth 1 mark), 25 marks to pass (50% pass)
  • 40 minutes duration
  • Closed Book

The Agile Programme Management (PgM) exam will be invigilated during class hours by the course instructor. The foundation exam will take place on Day 3.
